Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Bourgogne Rouge, La Maison Romane 2020

From organically and biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir vines in the village of Arcenant in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. Manually harvested and rigorously selected. The grapes are vinified whole with minimal extraction, just with a punchdown at the end. Native yeast fermentation, no additives, and very little added sulfites if necessary, sometimes none. The wine is age in neutral oak barrels for ten months then bottled unfined and unfiltered.
